Chivalry in the New Millennium
Unless you are a member of the military, in law enforcement, or are a judge, the opportunities to save a life or to fight injustice can be can be few and far between (though they do occur). Even so, the Chivalry for Children Program encourages our participants and staff to find ways to improve the world around them and to help better the lives of others. We teach that this is the function of a true knight. The Chivalry in Action page is where we show how this can be done in the everyday, work-a-day world: by brightening the holidays, feeding the poor, or helping organizations that fund medical reasearch. It is our hope that those inspired by the Chivalry for Children Program will find the courage to do more. A true knight, of course does not brag about the good they've done in the world, so much of what is done may go unnoticed, but here are a few of the things we've seen that those associated with C4C have done. We hope it will inspire you to do more, too.
